Naked Mind

I want a naked mind, stripped of its clothes
Skin bare, to the open air exposed
Layers disposed of, rid all thoughts within
Mind fresh as untouched, freed from all din

In freshly sprouted petals I’m reborn
All I absorbed is torn
On a level plain, freed from all the burrs, pricks and thorns

Crystalline waters now flow through my veins
I’m spotless. lucid as a droplet of rain
I’m a sunbeam, radiating fire in my gaze
I’m timeless, freed from all the burden of days

Weightless as a patch of light
Deep as the subconscious of the night
