I need.

I need four burritos.
One wouldn’t be enough.
Neither would four thousand.
A burrito would look better if someone else was eating it.
A burrito would look better in Los Angles
Than in New York City.
A burrito would look better than that in Mexico.
It would be more genuine.
It would look better than that in Spain.
And better than that in France, and Greece and Rome
The burrito would be better if it were more expensive.
It would be better if it were cheaper
And more natural.
It would be better if it were made for an astronaut going into space
I need my burrito to be cutting edge.
I need the burrito with old world charm
If I had five thousand burritos I would shout,
“Why do I have so many damn fucking burritos?!
I don’t need this many fucking burritos!
There are poor fucking children all over the world, who need these fucking
burritos
More than I do
And you give them to me?”
I need a new experience,
A taste sensation,
That I will remember for the rest of my life.
I need to savor each bite.
I need each bite to be savored.
I need to love each bite and have it love me.
And then I need to eat twelve more
And have each every one be just as good
As that first burrito.
