Grit yr teeth   pal   for t face a fading
Aging instant is t hold yr tongue hard.
A last breath man is but a paltry thing
Less soul clap hands and sing   you   I been jarred
To my lifebone by what I ought to say.
Death shall have no rage rage against   dancer
That heavy with sad   sad time’s weight   must lay
Head face down on that breast made of cancer
(Like right  -  February’s alchemy tears
Can cut thirsty March and breathe some fresh wind
Into that chest that don’t heave no more.) Lear’s
Words are nothing; words end where this begins.
At the service I tried t catch my breath
And missed. Clamping my jaw with silent death.
